Nelson & Murdock, together and separately, have represented many superheroes and supervillains over the years in the Marvel Universe. Below are listed a few of their more notable clients including the details and issue(s) involved.

Avengers Avengers #190 (Dec 79) Matt acts as one of three legal advisors to the Avengers while they are under investigation by the Senate.
Beyonder Daredevil #223 (Oct 85) The Beyonder hires Matt & Foggy to assist him in legally acquiring all possessions on Earth. As part of retainer, Matt is given his sight back. Matt decides he'd rather be blind, refuses the Beyonder's case, and demands that he take back his retainer.
Fantastic Four Daredevil #2 (Jun 64) The Fantastic Four hires the law firm to check their lease on the Baxter Bldg. Foggy says Matt is more specialized in these matters.
Fantastic Four #39 (Jun 65) Reed Richards gives Matt power of attorney should anything happen to the group.
Marvel Two-In-One #37-39 (Mar-May 78) The Thing is arrested for being a danger to the public. Matt & Foggy defend him in a preliminary grand jury hearing.
Fantastic Four #375-378 (Apr-Jul 93) FF hire Matt to settle 100 million dollar civil suit for damages filed by Empire State Univ. against the Human Torch. Matt also represents Johnny for criminal charges related to the same battle.
Daredevil #360 (Jan 97) Foggy states one of firm's key clients is the FF. He says firm is in charge of overseeing the FF's entire holdings.
Tales of the Marvel Universe (Feb 97) Matt (as the FF's lawyer) deals with government agents who want to confiscate all of the FF's equipment.
Gladiator Daredevil #173-175 (Aug-Oct 81) Gladiator look-alike goes on crime spree and gets Melvin Potter (the Gladiator) arrested. Foggy actually ends up winning the case for Matt while Matt is off fighting the Hand with Elektra.
Hulk Incredible Hulk #152-153 (Jun-Jul 72) Matt flies to Las Vegas to defend the Hulk against charges of conspiracy to destroy public property and endanger human lives.
Incredible Hulk #278 (Dec 82) Matt handles the legal details of the presidential pardon for the Hulk.
(Mr.) Hyde Daredevil #354-357 (Jul-Oct 96) Hyde is defended by Nelson & Murdock against murder charge of girl he kidnapped but did not kill.
Hydroman Amaz. Spid. #218 (Jul 81) Matt has conglomeration of Sandman & Hydroman declared new being independent of either and released from court.
Iron Man Iron Man(III) #38 (Mar 01) Matt accompanies both Tony Stark and Iron Man into police questioning as the police investigate the death of Whiplash. Matt also deals with the reporters outside the courtroom.
Ka-Zar Daredevil #14 (Mar 66) Ka-Zar is accused of murdering some of Lord Plunder's men (men that Plunder himself killed). Matt and Foggy are to defend him in court in London along with a British barrister as co-counsel.
Ka-Zar #15,17 (Jul, Sep 98) Ka-Zar & Shanna ask Matt to look into some of Parnival Plunder's (Ka-Zar's brother) holdings.
Killgrave, the Purple Man Daredevil #4 (Oct 64) Matt is the court-appointed defense counsel for Killgrave. However, Killgrave walks right out of jail before Matt ever really has a chance to represent him in court.
Murdock, Matt (Daredevil) Daredevil #227 (Feb 86) While Foggy did a brilliant job of keeping Matt out of jail, he couldn't prevent Matt from losing his law license.
Daredevil #292, 294, 297 & 300 (May 91-Jan 92) Foggy works hard and succeeds, with a federal agent's help, in getting Matt's license back.
Namor, Prince (Sub-Mariner) Daredevil #7 (Apr 65) Namor randomly selects Matt & Foggy's firm to sue the human race for depriving his people their birthright of the surface. After being arrested for damaging property in New York, Matt represents him in court.
Nighthawk (Kyle Richmond) Defenders #88, 103 (Oct 80, Jan 82) Matt, acting as advisor to Kyle's personal lawyer, helps convince a judge not to jail Kyle for failure to pay back taxes.
The Owl Daredevil #3 (Aug 64) Although Foggy initially declines the Owl over the phone, Matt wants to represent him to "learn more" about him. Matt gets the Owl released on a writ of habeus corpus after he's taken in for questioning regarding his business practices and the suspicious death of one of his highly placed employees.
Page, Karen Daredevil #374-375 (Apr-May 98) Matt & Foggy defend Karen against murder charge due to frame up by Mr. Fear. Despite their efforts, they're losing the case until DD confronts Mr. Fear & more importantly, the Kingpin rigs the jury.
Punisher The Punisher Kills the Marvel Universe (Nov 95) As revenge for the accidental murder of his family by members of the Avengers and X-Men, Frank Castle goes on a superhero killing spree, murdering almost all of the superheroes in the Marvel Universe. Matt represents Frank in order to ensure he gets a fair trail. Daredevil also pleads with the Punisher repeatedly to get him to rein in his rampage.
Rhino Amaz. Spider-Man #43 (Dec 66) Foggy is the court-appointed attorney for the Rhino. He worked all night on a writ to free the Rhino from prison.
Sandman Amaz. Spider-Man #218 (Jul 81) Matt has conglomeration of Sandman & Hydroman declared new being independent of either and released from court.
Spider-Man Amaz. Spider-Man #219 (Aug 81) Peter, caught breaking into Ryker's Island, is accused of breaking the Gargoyle out of prison. Matt defends Peter in lower Manhattan courthouse.
Valkyrie (the Defenders) Defenders #40 (Oct 76) Matt successfully defends Valkyrie in court against charges of wrecking a restaurant in a battle with a monster. Kyle Richmond (Nighthawk) pays Matt's fees.
Venom Spider-Man Special Edition (Dec 92) Matt attempts to get Eddie Brock released from "The Vault." Matt's theory is that the alien (now presumed dead) was the real Venom and Eddie Brock was its prisoner and therefore not responsible for all the evil and violence it perpetrated.
Venom: On Trial #1-3 (Mar-May 97) Rosalind Sharpe decides it would be good for the firm if Matt defends Venom. After Venom helps Spidey & DD defeat Carnage, he's whisked off by some federal agents for some special program.
Vermin Spectacular Spider-Man #196 (Jan 93) Matt agrees to Reed Richards' request that Matt represent Vermin in court.
Warbird Avengers #? (~Mar 00) Foggy represents Warbird...?
White Tiger Daredevil (v.2) #38-40 (Dec 02 - Feb 03) Power Man and Iron Fist convince Matt to defend the White Tiger from a charge of robbing a store & then killing a police officer.
X-Men (Professor X) Uncanny X-Men #46 (Jul 68) Foggy is called by the X-Men to read & manage the will of Professor X.
