Smith, Quesada, Palmiotti, RS & Comicraft's Liz Agraphiotis (cover: Quesada, Palmiotti) Karen leaves Matt, and a woman who claims to be a virgin directed by an angel leaves her baby, whom she refers to as "the redeemer", with Matt for protection. note: The only difference, as far as I know, between this and the "regular" alternate, limited Authentix cover is the little sketch box filled in by Quesada?, Palmiotti? or both?. There are, however, only 300 of these issues, and they only went out to a few shops, so they are probably about as rare as you can get. The sketches on them vary to a reasonable degree as you can see in the Authentix Sketch Cover Gallery. These limited issues were made available for around $30.00 to a small number of retailers based on their orders of Daredevil #1. The issues that sold on ebay (an online auction site) over the next year averaged about $125 and ranged from around $80 to $200. |

A reader who had a foreign version said there's an editorial that explains the text didn't make it into the American issue OR even the Visionaries TPB reprint released in the US. |
