Trade paperbacks have made a HUGE impact in the comic world the last few years. One
result of this is that most comic titles now require their writers to produce stories as arcs or multi-issue
storylines, so that they can be repackaged and sold as a TPB shortly after the storyline is completed in the
regular monthly serial. In fact, many TPBs are solicited before the story arcs are even complete! Here's the fun part: Daredevil: Born Again, which has been in print since around 1990, is also called Daredevil Legends, Volume 2 or (as it currently appears in its indicia) Daredevil Legends, Vol.2: Born Again. To make things even more confusing, Daredevil Volume 2 (the hardcover) doesn't even have the same issues collected in it as Daredevil Vol. 2 the trade paperback (otherwise known as Daredevil: Parts of a Hole). So, how can you figure out who is who and which is which? All of the trade paperbacks are listed alphabetically on this page with only the story arc title (for example, you'll find the Born Again story arc listed as Daredevil: Born Again not Daredevil Legends, Vol.2: Born Again). At the bottom of the page, you'll find a table tying all the titles together in a hopefully meaningful way. Happy reading!! |

| Unlike the above two sets of TPBs, the DD Visionaries set does use the same names in the catalogs and the indicia. Daredevil Visionaries: Frank Miller, Vol.2 really is printed the exact same way. (Although the indicia of Vol.2 does say that it collects Volume 2 issues #168-182...oops). |
